It’s been a month since I have been to Montauk, missing it terribly…My late Saturday afternoon trek to Whole Foods on 24th and 7th wearing…vintage button down found in billsburg, levi’s shorts, vintage frye boots circa 1970, Laura Michaels sterling silver key necklace, brown vintage leather key hole cuff and “k” belt buckle.

Billboard Magazine asked me to provide the bling for the “Women in Music” 4th annual event at the Pierre Hotel. Beyoncé, Lady GaGa and 30 other amazing women were honored. Here is what was given… Beyonce: sterling silver and brass flirt belt buckle, 18k gold key necklace with sapphires and citrine, Lady GaGa: sterling silver skeleton key necklace with pink tourmaline, 30 women executives sterling silver and brass dress key necklaces with assorted gemstones.

Today was an absolutely beautiful day to stroll through the Union Square Farmers Market. Mission— dinner…all organic vegetables, tofu and some flowers for the table. Wearing…Elie Tahari blouse, Citizen of Humanity shorts, Rocco P. boots. Kenneth Cole Handbag, Rose vintage sunglasses, Laura Michaels Sterling Love belt buckle and assorted vintage sterling key necklaces (clock, cuff and skeleton).
On Saturday my friend Kim Cullen (the producing director of Streb) and I went to see RoomTones a collaborative exhibition of 25 artists in the vacant Convent of St. Cecilia in GreenPoint Brooklyn. There were a few brilliant pieces but I fell in love with the beautiful shadows of objects that were taken by the nuns—here are some photos taken with my iphone.
I will be creating 50 keys for the Billboard “Women in Music” Brunch on October 2nd at the Pierre Hotel. Here are the keys. Beyoncé is getting a secret one to be posted the day of the event.
A fundraiser for the east end catastrophic fund each of which focus’ on education, health and community. A 4 mile race around Fort Pond was super fun and a great work out. We celebrated with friends at Surf Lodge. There was an art auction with lots of great surf boards and the banky banks band.

double overhead waves for my friends evan, chase and dan . they were in the water for 4 hours—looking a little purple when they got out. guest appearance from our local montauk fashion guru tracy feith.

With 2000 surfers descending on Montauk last weekend what could one do but join them. I hopped into my 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser (which by the way is a head turner) and headed to the beach. I can’t surf 10 foot waves but I can surf 4 ft waves and found them on the North side of the island at Gosmans—a line up already in progress
