The invigorating chaos of New York — viewed from the oasis of my loft in Chelsea — feeds my desire to create, and to design things that I love to wear myself… and to share with others. When I need an escape from the raw energy and the pace, I head for the calm and beauty of the waves in Montauk. You’ll see the influence of those peaceful, organic surroundings in my work, too.

The unique, spirited style of each of my pieces reflects a deep love of all things vintage — especially the found treasure of ornate keys. After my daughter, Kassandra, spied some timeworn keys at a flea market years ago, I was inspired to create a line of jewelry based on their deeply symbolic shapes…ultimately forging distinctive new treasures that unlock the mystery and magic of the past. Each one of my signature necklaces — designed to be strung on chains or leather, and layered in true bohemian fashion — is cast from an original key, complete with precious and semi-precious stones carefully set to enhance their power. If you wear one of my keys you have to be prepared for people to ask “What does that key open”. From there, I’ve built on my rock ‘n roll aesthetic to create urban-chic stone-set cuffs cast in sterling silver or brass, and jeans-ready belt buckles cast in sterling silver, brass, bronze and pewter

All of my materials (I work in gold, sterling and brass) and my work are produced in New York City.  I welcome you to my studio by appointment.
